Personality• Romance was taught to hate and kill. He is the perfect assasin for others because he doesn't care for the weak and does not attach to anyone emotionally. He does not know how to love or be nice and is very much a unloveable male. He can be loved but he would never be able to love back. He doesn't know how. He is not one to be nice or play games. He gets what he wants, whether it is by force or by their free will, it will happen he will make sure of it. He likes to lead lands and plans to soon come upon some. He is okay with lions, though quite emotionless. He is the same with lionesses but sometimes you might see a little emotion, if you do then you are quite lucky. Only his adoptive mother has seen any emotions from him and that was when he was younger. Maybe someone could reteach him, who knows.
History• My Chemical Romance was not named by either of his parents. When he was first born to both his light parents, they didn't want him. They weren't ready to have a foal together, so they ditched him. He was left in some lands which he did not know. He was found about two dayz later by a dark lioness who had had a stillborn birth. She could feed him and so she took him in. She started to train him, train him to be dark instead of the light brat he was. He was easy to train because he wanted to do anything to please the lioness whom has saved him from death. He was soon taunting other cubs and being rude to anyone he saw. Never had he experienced or been given love so he knows nothing about it. She taught him that weakness meant death and you should never show it. Also that something that looks weak is not always what you think. She had trained him hard and by the time he was two years old, she told him that he was ready to be a dark brute. She taught him how to kill things and he was used as an assasin by other prides. They thought him useful and hated the day that he traveled away from them to make a life of his own. Who knew that the lion they knew was infact two? Only the lioness that taught and raised Romance and his sister, Romance. They are identical twins.
Rp Sample•Day 1
The black overo stallion walking over the grassy plains was well known as Bloody Romance, the stallion that could be hired when you had a "dirty" job that you couldn't do yourself. Bloody Romance was the stallion talked about by none but also by everyone. Everyone mentioned how harsh and yet unemotional he was. He never showed his emotions to others and that is one of the main reasons why he is good at what he does.
He doesn't care for anyone or anything so attachment to his assignment is not a problem. He had been raised to not feel anything by the mare that had raised him and brought him from a light colt to a dark assassin. He knew that she and the other members of the herd would miss his services but he needed to get out on his own and get things started. Romance is only two years old but still he knew a lot more than most stallions his age.
He had been taught how to fight since he was first born and had learned many things since being changed to a dark stallion. He had begun as a light, yes Romance was once a light though you would never guess it now. The 17hh framed horse is very handsome but his looks are what deceive equines. He can seem sweet and trick others into going to a better area to dispose of them. He can easily get others to follow him but sometimes he would rather just be himself.
Emotionless. His eyes are never showing you anything. No one can read him; no one can see how he works or who he is. He is the assassin. Nothing else. People are either scared of him, or envy him and wish they could be like the great Romance. He doesn’t know what love is. He has never been shown love and so does not know how to react to shows of emotion.
The brute walked through lands upon lands wondering where he would come upon the perfect land to claim. He didn’t care whether it was claimed or not because either way the lands would end up being his. He wanted anything that could work well for a large herd, because he planned to have a huge herd within a short time of claiming the lands. And if it was already claimed, he would fight for it and he would already have a start on a herd because the herd members of the Lead’s would become his.
Whether they liked it or not, they would be his. So he kept going through many lands, not seeming to find one that would interest him. A lot of them were too small and others were just not well taken care of and would be bad for herd members. It was too dangerous or not enough grass to feed on for an entire herd. So he kept going past all those lands and not for a few months did he find the land that satisfied him.
He stopped upon some dark lands in an area he had never been. The overall area was known as Wild Equines. The land was called Spinning Hell. It had enough grass for a big herd and was also not way too dangerous. There was always room for improvement and that started with making him the lead of the lands. He smirked as he smelled scent markers upon its borders as he roamed around it. Many smaller animals lived upon the land and it was very luscious but he wasn’t totally sure about it.
Did it have water sources? Did it have too many predators? So he roamed around the lands a little more. He walked around the borders and through it, making sure not to run into any of the equines upon the lands. One time, he almost ran into a colt running among the trees but he avoided it and was not detected. He was very stealthy because that was part of his everyday job.
He continued through the lands which he hoped to claim someday and soon noticed that there were two sources of water in the lands. So that took care of that problem. He had not seen many predators but he had seen a wolf and one time a small lynx but there was always one or two within every land. He smirked evilly and stared out at the lands, figuring it was about time he called to the lead and fought him for these lands. He couldn’t just hang around forever. He had been there for a few days now.
It was time for him to become the lead. He reared up on his hind legs and called out to the lead with a battle cry then yelled I, Bloody Romance, here fore challenge the cowardly lead of these lands. If you do not shown your rosy hide within 3 days then your lands are Mine! He ended his words and landed down upon the ground, leaving hoof marks within the grass. He looked out upon the lands and his eyes were eerily emotionless which was quite normal for romance.
He had big plans for these lands, and this brute wasn’t going to ruin that. He would win no matter what. The bitch had no chance of winning against a professional assassin.
Day 2
The black overo pelt of the 17hh stallion still stood upon the lands which he was challenging for. He had been on them for almost a week now, though now he was just waiting for the lead to show his cowardly hide. He had been waiting for only a day but he was surprised that he had not showed up as soon as he had called for him, that was the normal and what he had expected. The stallion was more of a coward than he had even first though. He snorted with disgust at the brute and looked around the lands in front of him.
He could easily just roam around until the bastard showed or bailed but he wasn't really interested in surveying the lands anymore. He was more interested in finding where his herd was located and seeing whom he had in his lands, for they would soon be his. So it would be wise to see who all lived here while he was waiting for the worthless lead. So now his objective was to roam the lands yet again but this time in search of the brute's herd members. If he had not shown up by now then he must be absent from the lands and his herd would be unprotected.
The assassin looked around as he strode through the lands and figured the best place that his herd could be. He walked toward the meadow which lay close by one of the water sources, yes he knew they land quite well by now. He went over the grass with a casual gait and his path was straight ahead of him. His eyes were emotionless as they normally would but most would know where he was heading by the path he was striking upon. He couldn't care though, he kept his stealth with him at all times and not many could hear his hooves striking the ground for he loved almost ghostly.
His harks were pricked as he listened to the land around him and heard many smaller animals scurrying around on the earth around him. Hooves made small sounds upon the ground with every step he took. Boof. Boof. Boof-boof. It sounded different because it was as if something was making the fall of his hooves whisper against the ground. It was like stuffing a pillow over a screaming mouth and all you could hear was mumbles. The silence of it all was somewhat eerie but the stallion didn't seem to mind.
Silence was his specialty and it helped him with his work. Being silent was the best way for him to do his work without being detected and without getting caught with whatever his task was at the time, like being undetected by the lead here when he is looking through his lands and herd. It was best not to get caught around the brute's herd though Romance didn't care. He was here for the fight. It was the bitch's fault for not showing up for the challenge.
Romance struck out at the ground as he stopped in his tracks and listened to his surroundings. He listened with his hooves and ears. From what he could tell, the herd was just a little to his left and not many were within it. He brought his hooves up and again walked the path. He continued for only a quarter of a mile when he spotted movement through the trees. A tattered bodice was what his green orbs focused on. She was nothing great to look at and it seemed like she was quite the fighter. Scars filed over the course of her pelt, it made Romance wonder what she had been fighting with so much.
He kept himself hidden from her site and walked only a little way before noticing more members of his herd. He didn't have much of a herd but there were at least 5 altogether. One stood out from the others and he figured that she must be the bastards mate because of the way she held herself and walked. Beside her was a filly which would probably be the bastards heiress. Not for much longer though, soon they would all become homeless or slaves. He noticed a male with another female by his side, obviously the co-lead and his mate. Too bad the brute wouldn't find Romance, plus this wasn't the brute's right, it was Sykota's.
There were a few more just lagging around the land but it was obvious that it was pretty pathetic size for a main herd land. He laughed lightly and turned his back on the pathetic site. Now it was time for him to once again search for the brute whom he had to fight. This land needed a new leader and Romance was here for that. His black and white tassels blew in the wind as he walked away from the herd. Once he was about a mile away from the place he had left, he stopped and looked around. The brute would come to him, one way or another. He reared up once again and yelled out Come, cowardly bitch. For if you do not show, this pathetic herd will belong to me. Now COME! He was getting a little impatient but he did not let it show. He was ready to fight.
